Practice list for 4th March 2007
2nd Sunday of Lent
Notes:-
- Gathering style hymn - we will start about 9.25 and play until priest is in place in the sanctuary. Please be ready.
- Instrumental at collection - none played during Lent.
- Post Communion - throughout Lent we shall sing a 'post comminion hymn of praise' before the 'Prayer after Communion' (instead of Recessional - see below). We will need to get to communion a bit earlier than usual or else the priest might carry on with the Mass and miss the hymn.
- At the recession the group will play the music of the Gathering hymn. Hopefully this will encourage people to reflect on the words they started the Mass with a few moments before leaving?
